If someone were to initial and sign a contract saying they witnessed you sign it, when they did not and you can confirm this, does that lie void the contract? Though a lawyer and judge will have to help make the final decision. As well, you better hope whoever the contact was passed around too all have the same stories. |

Depends.
Some jurisdictions don't really care, others do. It's much like verbal contracts. Some jurisdictions view them as legit, others do not. So it just depends. Generally what happens is you have the burden of proof in proving that you didn't sign the contract and the person who "witnessed" you signing it really didn't see you sign it. |
