Default A little bit of MadOnion nostalgia.
This is what MadOnion looked like when I joined and I thought for those who weren't familiar with the waybackmachine www.archive.org

... I'd give them a blast from the past.

IIRC, once it hit 1000 replies it was killed.

And that was only because of people moaning about the "Test Board" threads (Puddle, Bistro, etc..) loading slowly on thier stupidly slow (at the time) mobile devices. [cursing]

It was a while back but IIRC the original Morrowind thread reached about 1400 replies before it was locked. The 1000 post limit came about because of the Morrowind and NWN threads which were growing at an insane rate. Aswell as the posts Phantom named just above me.

The second Morrowind thread capped out at 1000 posts and the third thread reached about something like 500-600 posts before dying out.

I could be mistaken like I said but I don't think I am since I pretty much lived in those threads for the entire time they were active.

I must admit, i did love Morrowind. It was awesome - just didn't realise it was so popular on these boards back in the day!

Has there been any others that have rivalled it in size?

Man, can anyone find that thread where everyone crucified me for saying half life 2 would be delayed? I mean EVERYONE? Cuz that would be awesome to see, it was before the whole source code debacle. I think my name woulda been l3lood_Wake back then

bah im sure its lost forever.
