I saw them all recently so I have been following them before. I thought they nearly suck, only thing that made the movie pretty cool was how Bourne fought and it looked very realistic even though it was near close to Matrix..

I know I'm going to piss some people off, but I've enjoyed the Bourne series more than Bond.

And to top off that cake, I thought Brosnan was the pivotal Bond(although I've only seen Golden Eye).

I would have to agree with you, not about the Brosnan part, though he did play an awesome Bond, but about the Bourne movies being better than the Bond series.

The reason I think I like them the most is because Bourne uses knowledge, tactics, wits, not to mention physical prowess to get himself to where he needs to be, he is more of an everyday guy that you can connect to on different levels, especially as he is struggling to find out who he is, etc. Where as bond uses crazy gadgets, such as invisible cars, remote control this and that, and all kinds of stuff that doesnt exist. That to me is the biggest selling point for the Bourne movies. not to mention the fact that it has Matt Damon

Then watch the older with Sean Connery, they are much better. Especially the new bonds, they have no bond feeling at all altough great action movies.

I have seen all the Connery Bonds, and I only really like Dr. No and From Russia with Love. Goldfinger was okay (theme song rocks though). The others were off the mark for me.

I haven't really seen the Lazenby, Roger Moore, or Timothy Dalton ones though. Maybe some day.

I liked Brosnan in Goldeneye, but again, the series lost focus and became too dependant on gadgetry, double-entendres and poor puns.

Of all the Bond movies I've seen, here's how I would rank the top three:

From Russia With Love
Dr. No
Casino Royale

Thing about Sean in the early Bond movies was the character came over as a psychopath, period - whereas the Bourne movies are more of a person gaining their humanity as they learn about their previous actions as a psychopath working for a shady organisation.

IMO, the Bourne movies are about the best you could get in the genre! Brilliant!

I was impressed how a man as wanted as Bourne was able to travel throughout the world without even bothering to change his look.

He should have grown a beard.

With that said they are still good films.

I guess when he said he would never do another one, the character was finished, that he wasn't really serious. LOL

However Matt Damon won't do a fourth "Bourne," he said: "We have ridden that horse as far as we can." He admitted to feeling like "a bit of a prostitute for putting out two number threes in one year."

"That's better than three number twos," added Clooney. http://www.variety.com/article/VR111...1&query=bourne

The first one was sweet, the second one was pretty good but the third one I thought seemed like it was slammed together and was too "jumpy" of a movie. I had a hard time enjoying it...

That is old news from 2007. A fourth Bourne movie was announced this past June and both Matt Damon and director Paul Greengrass are on board.

I like all three Bourne movies, but I've come to like Paul Greengrass' style more than Liman's. For me, it adds a nice frantic feeling to the scenes; the first one just seems very slow now.

Still, the 3rd movie was showing some major signs of repetition (eg: Waterloo station like the Alexander Platz from the 2nd movie, one-on-one fight strangulation death like the 2nd movie...) but overall I thought it echoed the previous movies nicely, especially how Jason ends his journey in water as he started it in the 1st movie.
