if you are launching cargo into space orbit. the white knight is a suborbital plane-rocket, it is only going high enough to let you have a feeling of space so you don't really have to worry about entering a bad orbit since you wouldn't be able to reach it anyway.

The White Knight only carries the space ship up to lauch altitude. Just because the space ship don't reach orbit altitude doesn't mean they're not in space.
