Crazy crash for Kovalainen...I reckon he broke his left leg [no] Lets hope he isn't too badly injured though!

It's been a wild race, full of crashes! Pretty much sums up this season too

[edit] Well, 'unofficially' he is 100% ok...But there hasn't been a proper confirmation.

What a waste of time watching that borefest...that was about as much of a race as watching the elderly drive round a traffic circle.

Heikki's car wasn't in such a bad shape after all, McLaren was just trying to copy Ferrari's new nose with the hole in it, but since they didn't get blueprints this time, they misplaced it a bit [rofl]

There is always someone to say this, and i don't get it. This isn't a circus, it's auto racing, where cars go around and round a track. If you want close racing watch WTCC, this is not it.

What the hell was Alonso thinking on the parade lap. The last thing you want to do is bin it before the race starts. [rofl] He was lucky it was dry, otherwise I'm sure he'd of been out on lap 0.

Oh well, I think it will be procession till the end :-/
Unfortunately this track isn't particularly good when it comes to overtaking. Turkey is a much better track in that regard, so the next race should be more interesting.

I personally think they should get rid of or at least redesign the tracks that have too few over taking places (besides Monaco of course). They are redesigning the cars to allow for more over taking, so why not the tracks too.

The problem of these tracks is the damn re-designing they have gone through over the years in the name of "safety". That and Tilke who has no bloody idea how to do good tracks but still gets to do them all

Well can't really say it has, either, for example Senna wouldn't have gotten anything but bruises, if even that, from his deadly crash had it happened couple years later, the cars have become much, much more safe, there's no proof really (as far as I know) that the track changes have made any real difference.
Not to mention they've made overtaking harder etc

Agreed, I fear the rest of the season will be more of the same.

Erm sorry but F1 is a type of race, and i didnt see much racing of any kind. Unless you consider positional changes due to mechanical problems some kind of racing.
