Default Files From PC to Mac
I just got a Macbook laptop for all my business related stuff - my desktop is more for fun - but all my old data (Itunes, Documents, Outlook) is all on the desktop (PC). What is the most efficient way to get all that data on to my new Mac?

I spoke to someone at the Apple store and they said that I had to put everything onto 1 folder and they would transfer it for me. I was like WTF! I can do that. So I don't think that will serve any good purpose.

I do have an EXTERNAL HD that I use for backup.

Thanks,

DRJ

You can use the External HDD, a usb flash drive or over the network. I have used all three methods before taking stuff to and from my macbook to the desktop.

I don't know much about macs anymore, but as long as that external HDDs FAT32, it should work.
