Default Biking NYC
I love cycling NYC... and my friends think I am mad for doing so. But check this out, I can't stop watching this film...

Human power FTW in the big city. [thumbup]

Bike messengers are like kids that never grow up. Not so much in their lifestyle, but in that they retain something that you have in your youth that makes you kind of fearless.

Most people lose that.

Yeah that video pops up every now and then, still amazing I can't believe it. I've ridden in downtown Minneapolis traffic and it scares the pants off of me so I couldn't even imagine doing it in NYC.

Well, every now and again, someone ends up squished at the side of the road. It's a dangerous pursuit!

Especially when they don't obey traffic signals. [thumbdown]

Regularly do it here in Toronto (minus running red lights and stuff, i am not in a hurry like those guys) especially if there is lots of traffic. One time a motorcycle followed behind me but had to stop when the gap closed in. And people are supposed to look for traffic before they open their doors, but i still stay away from the door zone because there are lots of selfish dicks who don't.

I love the bit where they ride between the two buses touching both of them as they squeeze through!
