Default audiophile help
i want to get a new headunit for my vehicle. i have a few basic requirements like atleast 20x4 rms, variable colour display so i can match my gauge cluster. ill do my own research to find a headunit that has all that but what im concerned with is usb support. i dont really want to go buy an 80gb ipod that im never going to use outside the car when i could just buy a usb drive for much cheaper and use that with the headunit. so, does anyone use this method? i heard that some drives will not work with certain headunits without external power sources and that other headunits will reload the drive everytime the vehicle starts which can take a long time when your talking about 80gb of music. also not even sure if there is a headunit that supports that size of drive. for some reason none of this information is listed on the manufactures site. anyone?

this is the headunit im looking into at the moment
