I just had a call from a friend who has a TOMTOM One and his SD card with maps etc has died, it's saying 78MB used no free space but wont let him access the card. I have the same TOMTOM One, can I just copy averything from my SD card and stick it on another so he can use it with his TOMTOM or are they serial number specific or anything like that.

You'll have to get the activation code for the maps. Has he tried contacting TomTom?
