Default HD DVD 360 & 5 Free DVD help.
Hey, My Fiance(as of 12/25 ) just gave me a 360 HD DVD for my birthday, and on the application for the 5 free HD DVD's offer it asks for the serial # of the product. Am I correct on assuming its the long number under the bar code on the back of the HD DVD unit? It makes no mention of that being the serial # nor does it have a "sn" next to it anywhere...

Just want to make sure before sending it off.

Any help is appreciated! Thanks, Ron............

This is getting pretty frustrating to say the least... :/

I keep reading online that there is suppose to be a serial # that has 'SN' next to it somewhere on the drive, but mine indeed does NOT! Anyone who has actually sent this offer in remember where the sn was taken from??

Thanks again, Ron..

Well, I decided to just cal MS/XBOX and find out.

The number below the bar code on the back side is infact the s/n although its not labled so......

Anyway, carry on. Nothing to see here...

LOL!!!! I gotta say they have deliberately made that as hard as possible...

The form in Finland asks for Viivakoodi (Barcode in english). And there are 4 barcodes on the box?!

And in the box here there would be a number starting with SN, but they don't ask for it...

So in US they ask for SN and there isn't one on the box and in Europe they ask for Barcode while there would be SN in the box [rofl]

This is class....
