I need some web hosting but don't know which is the best and cheapest company to go for?

it'll be used for quite a large number of photos (which will allow users to upload them to the server) and possibly some videos. With also about 10-15 pages of content.

So I guess I'm lookin' for around 500mb-1gb of space?

Not uk based, but www.asmallorange.com - very good, used by lots of mac owners.

For videos, I'd opt for using the likes of youtube and hot linking them. Save on bandwidth and hassle of video streaming.

I've used dataflame for a client, haven't had any problems
