Default What do you do with 23,606 pounds of nuts? Send them to CBS
Because everyone is so pissed off over Jericho being cancelled! I wonder if this will work, hell, I could see it easily reaching like 50,000 pounds or something and that’s A LOT of peanuts.

It's being done

I guess I forgot to add the link: http://www.nutsonline.com/jericho

I'm not a fan of Jericho so my money is better spent somewhere else, but still, it's a very cool idea!

CBS nuked it. Unless this nut thing worked and they then backed up and said they would pick it up again, it's still nuked.

CBS officially announced Jericho's cancellation on May 16, 2007. Several online communities, including the official Jericho forums, have launched campaigns in an effort to revive the show. The largest petition claims to have over 87,000 electronic signatures as of May 27.[19] Fans have also sent tons of nuts to CBS headquarters, in a reference to a scene in the final episode where Jake Green repeats General Anthony McAuliffe's historic phrase "Nuts!" from the Battle of Bastogne.[20][21]
In a response posted on the Jericho forum, CBS president Nina Tassler acknowledged the fan response, stating "we hope to develop a way to provide closure to… the Jericho story."[22] Jericho producer Karim Zreik has reported that "there's a chance that more information might come out after the Memorial Day holiday."[23] There are no plans, however, to bring back the show,[23] despite what CBS officials acknowledge is the largest campaign it has seen using digital means to protest a show cancellation.[20] According to senior vice president of communications Chris Ender, "You have to tip your hat to their ability to get attention and make some noise."

Heh... I swear i remember a report just after the series ended that it was going to be picked up for another season

Was such a well written & original show.

Well at least they're going to finish off the cliffhanger - http://www.tv.com/story/9589.html?q=...tional_links;0

And I bet that they are helping them make some money off of it. They can turn around and make some biofuel off of it for like $0.50/gal and turn around and sell it for $2.60/gal.

Damn bastards! [cursing]
