Cnet did an interview with Fifth Generation Systems back in April 2007.

the interview focused on Zude and it's ability to mash-up content from almost anywhere on the web AND your home PC and make a "presence" on the web with amazing ease.

during the video interview, (about 3mins 40secs) the interviewer described what he witnessed as "you guys are like the Switzerland of everything else that's out there..".

cut to 21st May 2007 and the release of Microsoft's Popfly.
again this was covered by Cnet and in the interview (1min30secs) the Microsoft guy describes Popfly as "we think of ourselves as Switzerland if you will....."

way to innovate a presentation speech!

i've heard of it as a phrase, and sometimes Geneva as a phrase too.

don't you find it a strange coincidence that Cnet interviews 2 companies offering the SAME concept, and the 2nd company uses the same phrase as in the 1st interview?
