Default Post Your Desk & PC Setups
Here is mine.

It's that laptop in the signature plus Z-5500 speakers, audigy 2 zs notebook, Dell 2407WFP monitor, G15 logitech Keyboard.

I couldn't help myself since I just got this monitor for free and cleaned up my desk.

I look forward to seeing everyone's setups. Please post.

Next purchase will be a G5 mouse.

I did a little moving around to make more room onmy desk for work. Now my speakers are forced to mingle with my drawers and 80's clock-radio.

The TV is doubling up as a monitor, only thing I'd want to upgrade is the speakers and possibly a slightly better gfx card at some point.

It's perfect as a monitor, resolution is 1360x768 over DVI-HDMI lead 1:1 pixel mapped so it's as crisp and clear as any other monitor really. gaming on it is great but due to the size and how close I sit you can see motion smearing on some darker games, otherwise its great.

It's a Samsung LE40R87BDX if your interested.

A friend of mine has the 46" version of that telly which does 1920 x 1080. He put together a 6600/8800GTX Machine together last week so we hooked it up and ran a bunch of tech demos and FEAR on it. That was just mind blowing. Fantastic detail, even fairly close up!

Kinda depressing that I still have to use a low res CRT TV after seeing that.

No, providing the PC is setup to display 1360x760 (prefferable) or 720p @ 60hz it fits perfectly.

It's a very good telly, had no end of bother with a cheap HDTV I bought before, video and games would stutter, ghosting was awful but I can't fault this.

£999 in Currys, Comet and the like but it's about £750 online.

This picture is couple months old. I have a lot more junk on my desk now (and the monitor was just there to compare size).

In my case the rear speakers are behind me as is visible in my first picture.

But I know what you mean, it drives me nuts to see it too.
