My old one hasn't played cd's reliably since the deer incident.

Anyway,saw a decent deal and went for it,it's another Alpine,but better.

Let me know how it works. I'm fairly sure that my little "walmart issue" damaged the headunit in the vehicle and I'm looking for a replacement. I was considering an alpine or an eclipse deck but was leaning more towards the CD3100. It was a crappy panasonic HU anyway.

Considering both companies have an excellent track record its a tough choice. I love my CD4000 that's in my car, but the alpine has bluetooth capability and that might eventually come in handy.
