That is the kind of truck that I live for prostreetcamaro. Your going to make me cry.

Well, just got back from Walmart looking through the new motor trend mag. They compared the 5.7L Tundra against the 5.3L Silverado.
Basically, they said the Tundra's power is on the street. The Silverado's is on dirt, but still isnt a bad street ride. Interior, they gave both the thumbs up. Both high quality good looking materials. The Tundra was a little more spacious but they said that the dash could have been more organized. Exterior looks they gave both the thumbs up, but with the Silverado having the finishing touches that the Tundra lacks. On the road, Silverado was on the slow side, and the Tundra pulling 6 seconds 0 to 60. They said though, that on the Tundra, with ESC on or off, the computer fights what you are wanting the ride to do, but once you switch to 4x4, the Tundra will then do what you want. Off-roading, the Silverado was better because the Tundra's suspension and handling is more geared for the road. The Silverado they received, they were surprised to see it perform just a wee bit better then the Tundra even with the big rims and street tires, plus the locking diff was much nicer off-road then the Tundra's limited slip. If they had the 6L with the right tires/rims, it would have been way better then the Tundra.

Then they said that if you get both rides set up equally from the base price all the way up to the max price, the Silverado is pretty much always $2000 to $5000 cheaper.

So they these two are basically even exterior/interior wise. Just that the Silverado is more of the work truck and the Tundra is more of the street truck.
