I'm guessing you're thinking of the Pronto.

Some people don't like touch screens though. My remote is only partially touchscreen, which is great because the hard buttons are used for very common functions, and the touch screen for lesser used functions.

yes the Pronto!

And maybe not all like the touch screen, but it was the best remote for all when it hit the market. You could even design icons and download others for it, for every application you wanted to use it for.. stereo, tv, dvd/ VHS, you name it..

Pretty neat.

Over all the years I must have well over 20 remotes laying around the house, a good few probably don't have their component couterparts anymore.

My all-in-one solution

Remote for Main HTPC

Remotes for kids' HTPC's X 2

Comcast HDTV Box Remotes x 3 (sits in cabinet)

Sony DVP-NS55P Remotes x 2 (sits in cabinet)
Sony STR-DE985S remote x 1 (sits in cabinet)
Samsung HLN-617W remote x 1 (sits in cabinet)

I was thinking about picking up a Harmony 1000. Anyone here using one of those?

Holy crap. LOL. I forgot I was doing a search. I left my desk, came back and took my search results as the regular forums.
