Theres ONE HUNDRED houses on a street.

19? Not writing down, honest. Gave it 5 secs thought.

Also depends on how many Germans live there. Think Spike Milligan.

If you are counting the sixes as well it's a trick question...

That'd be 38.

Well if you mean how many houses have a 9 on their house number it's 19.

If you mean how many 9's are on the street then it's 20.

You didn't ask how many nine's there are. You said how many of them have a nine on their door. It's 19 not 20.

...or if you count 6's as being upside down 9's, then it's 36:

06, 09, 16, 19, 26, 29, 36, 39, 46, 49, 56, 59, 60, 61, 62, 63, 64, 65, 66, 67, 68, 69, 76, 79, 86, 89, 90, 91, 92, 93, 94, 95, 96, 97, 98, 99
