Default My first F...
I did it...I made 5 As and an F in college (and a 4.0 GPA until now). I failed accounting...

Most bizarre thing ever...to make 5 As (and those were hard honors classes) and an F...

Because of one F I can't take International Business program and I am not sure if they will let me get into regular business school now...

I'm sure those other A's can be used to get into another program...

Yes and I tried and tried and I went for extra help and more extra help and redid all my HW and still....I don't get it.

I got 67 which is 3 pts off from passing with a C. C is lowest....either C or F.
I have BIG doubts my prof. will add 3 pts and let me pass.

*Sigh*. And its SO discouraging but I know that being a bad accounting doesn't mean being a bad manager or businessman because its just a science of recording things....

YoyomanA finally got laid!!! [thumbup]

...[oops]

Err... good luck figuring out what to do, I think if you got an F you obviously know you probably on purpose let the subject get off track and didn't hand stuff in and didn't bother to study. Only real reason one could fail something. I not bagging ya, I've done the same. work and study and was doing a linux course, got good marks on my tests, but in the end couldn't be stuffed handing in the final assignment... so I failed. Wasn't a happy bloke at the time...

Pfttt. You're an engineer. If it's not easy to you, I'd be worried.

odd that you don't know what went wrong... like... it's an F, not just a bad score. As if you didn't predict you might not do well?

Did you really think you were sweet and would get a A or B?

I scored 62 on first test...and I thought I will do better on second and third and then I scored 45 on second test....then I needed like 80 to pass the class....but I made 75.

So, I always had hope and I kept trying harder...but it just didn't work out!
CRAP!

different college and different teachers make the difference in peoples grades
as far as we know his teacher sucked and was really bad at explaining things and for the next guy at a different college they had a good teacher that explained it well

Life's a bitch, that's why I'm so worried about taking the MCATs to get into Medical
School...errrr. I hate standardized tests like that, but I do really well in class and usually
get the highest grades. What are your other options?

Hmm... looks like you let the 2nd test slip. If you got 60 or 65 on the second you would have been sweet. Looks like by flunking the 2nd by a good amount you really had heaps of ground to make up on the next pass mark.

oh well... **** happens time to move on. I speak from experience, it's not the end of the world.

Even though your parents will tell you you'll be a failure and be a garbage man for the rest of your life. (mine said that but now I've become a pretty good success )

Same with me on accounting, I've never had so much trouble with a class. I think I'm gonna pass the class though luckily, those damn cash flow statements are HORRIBLE!!
