Maybe i missed the boat here and was late seeing this movie but anyway just wanted to spread some awareness about it:

For people who dont know what it is, basically its a full length highly entertaining and graphically impressive documentary about the Demoscene ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Demoscene ) that was really quite big among computer users and enthusiasts (especially in Europe) in the late 80s and 90s.

More importantly, if im to be slightly bold would say that us Madonion/Futuremark members are only here together today largely due to the demoscene since that is what sparked the 3Dmark benchmark back in the day and is why it always right upto now has the cinematic music pumping demo mode. Thats right part of the MadOnion and Remedy team were from the Demoscene.

I still remember chatting endlessly about demoscene on old school IRC hosted here. Other than benching, running and oogling 4k to 64K demos intros is what we used to do in the Madonion days in fact i remember nearly all the demos shown in the movie and some of the guys who made them. I myself wouldnt be doing the job i do now if it wasnt for guys like this.

Give it a watch if you can, its worth your time.
