It is about time the Crue got back together!!! One of my favorite bands of all time!! SOLA is a kick ass song!! Music back in the day was alot better than the crap they put out now... Maybe this will get some of the other bands to get back together and start rocking again... GNR?:fo:d-smil

I was in a hair band for 3 years back in 91-94, we got crushed when Nirvana & Pearl Jam came out.
I was the guitarist, and I had so much fun!
I don't know which was better, playing the music or the chicks lol.
Of course, living in LA, I have seen all of the bands in their various incarnations over the years, and it is great to finally see the majority of them back with the original members instead of the "1 original member" like it has been.
We were always saying "it's gonna come back, man"
Unfortunately, it took 15 years and now we all have real jobs.
Only good thing about that is that now I can afford to buy the equipment that I dreamed about back then.
I still play almost every day, and I still only play that style of music.
It's the only way to keep your chops up; anything that came out after hair metal a 2 year old could play on the guitar.

I saw Poison when I was 13 or 14.
The "Open up and say Aaahhh" tour, lol.
Tesla opened for them.
It was CC Deville's birthday.

Remember all those hair band magazines they used to have? Circus, RIP, Metal Edge, etc.?
I used to cut out the pics of my favorite bands and hang them up in my room, lol.

I actually love 80's metal and hair bands.....and I'm only 23!! lol Is that odd? I love their technical guitar solos! I just saw Van Halen a couple months ago. I've also seen Metallica and Def Leppard and a few others! I'm a guitar nerd! -StOrY

i checked on tickets when they come to the Rose Garden in Portland and the nosebleeds were something like $150. Poison is playing at the Oregon State Fair this year, definately going to check them out. Also saw Guns n Roses a year ago and AC/DC on the Stiff Upper Lip tour- great concert

Caught them a few years ago and can't wait for this tour to come around. BTW, just got tickets to Metallica's only US show. Tucson AZ on May 18. Ah I feel like a kid again. Oh crap, is this mid-life?
