Default Ultimately the music business gets an idea.
http://www.dallasnews.com/sharedcont....80b83804.html Connected Press LA - The team representing the U.S. Saving business said Friday it's abandoned its plan of suing people for discussing tracks protected by copyright and works with Internet providers to reduce abusers' entry when they overlook repeated warnings. The transfer stops a controversial plan that found the Recording Industry Association of America sue about 35,000 people since 2003 for changing tracks on the web. Due to large legal expenses for defenders, almost all of these struck with lawsuits resolved, normally for around $3,500. The association's legal expenses, in the meantime, surpassed the settlement money it introduced. The organization said Friday that it stopped giving out warnings and new lawsuits in August, and then arranged with many top U.S. Internet service providers, without identifying those, to inform alleged illegal file-sharers and take off service when they did not end.
