adidas trainers has a stronger relationship with the hip-hop community than ever before, and Jam Master Jay was one of the artists who helped open up that door. adidas continues to celebrate the year of the Superstar with exclusive colorway of the classic silhouette. The shoe comes constructed out of a Primeknit upper done in the aforementioned Frozen Blue colorway. The only parts on the shoe that are not done in Primeknit fashion are the shell toes, that’s it. White accents are placed on the tongue branding, Three Stripes branding, heel tab and of course the shell toe. The traditional white sole unit is placed under the upper to complete the aesthetics of the shoe.
Future helped introduce the new reebok classic trainers to the world with special events in London and New York City earlier this month, so it’s not too surprising to see that the rapper is now getting his very own version of the shoe. The all-new knit sneaker design by Reebok with a modern Ultraknit upper combined with DNA from the iconic Classic Leather gets done-up by Future in a clean black upper with white threading creating a triangular dot pattern. Future also calls out his record label FREEBANDZ on the tongue and embossed leather heel panels. Union Los Angeles has teamed up with their California neighbors Vans for a three colorway tribute to the iconic vans shoes. Simple, refined, and elegant, the three spring-ready pastel shades feature luxurious treatments ranging from a twill weave, contrasting suede, and pebble grain leather. Tonal options include Dusty Pink, Muted Gold, and Off-White colorways while a natural veg-tan leather hits the inner lining to match a marine blue boat shoe outsole for a lifestyle twist. Union has also hinted at matching apparel for a full-on capsule so stay tuned. Check out more of the coming collaboration between these two California staples below and grab your favorite colorway on March 18th. |
