As I'm sure some of you are, I am on "Texas Tourism's" mailing list. Every few weeks they sent me something new. Today I got an e-mail from them with the following title:

"Make Summer Last Forever in Texas"

You've GOT to be kidding me

Hot Dog! We broke the string today! We stayed under 100 degrees for once. My area was at 99 but with rain in the northern reaches of the county, those areas remained cooler. Yippee!!! Here comes fall!
