What options can be suggested for Linux and Windows 7 users?

Windows 7 pro is the most successful version and I noticed that after disconnecting users from support and upgrading many were able to install software and drivers without problems. If before even the player couldn't be updated, now it can be downloaded with new drivers and convenient automatic updates. Of course, Microsoft does not support versions, because they have disabled them from such a feature. Being forced to switch to newer versions even made me find an audio streaming solution and it is quite easy to work with OS 2007 or 2010. The worst thing is that time moves on and few want to keep up with innovation
