Dude, do you even read the article? It says right there that people with dark skin are less likely to get it but because it's so rarely diagnosed (or diagnosed too late), people are more likely to die.
Although the disease is less common, when it does occur it is typically more aggressive and diagnosed later, which leads to more deaths, they explain. |
