NASA has a live feed of the shuttle docking with the space station right now!
(I think it will actually dock at around 3:45- but cool views of earth and the station right now)

Just finished a four hour watch of the docking and the hatch opening.

I was able to watch with a friend who lives in a different town, as we were able to converse through web cam link on Skype.

Armed with a block of Stilton cheese and a bottle of Spanish Rioja wine, it was a very enjoyable evening.

Fantastic live pictures from NASA.

Mind Boggling- to think, put together piece by piece, at 17,500MPH in ZG!!
And only 14 more shuttle missions before they retire it for good.
The USA is also giving up it's stake in the space station altogether (budget constraints),
making way for the upcoming "Orion" missions- to the moon/mars!
To the moon to build a base, to launch a manned mission to Mars!
The one on the right for cargo- the one on the left for human crew.

the first tests will bring supplies to the space station

They unveiled the new self contained (no need for space suit), lunar vehicle the other day.
