Maldonado is such a chop, personally i think the accident wouldnt have happened if he didnt jump the start since it confused everybody. Which he clearly did jump IMO.
And then he crashed out later anyway, idiot.

As i've said before, showing little bits of skill now and again does not make a good driver! What a nob!

Great race though.

Shame, I was starting like Grosjean as well.

Good drive from Button however it's not like he had any competition, Hamilton was compromised in qualifying due to a stupid decision to change his wing by the team and the main competition was taken about by a kamikaze move by Grosjean at the start.

Maldonado's start was hilarious as well and he crashes out.

Grosjean got 1 race penalty, aka no Grosjean in Monza (unless Lotus complains on the decisions and manages to get it through)
Lotus's "3rd driver" is Jérôme d'Ambrosio, who drove for Marussia last year

I think that penalty is amybe a bit harsh. Yes he was careless and the consequences were rather bad, but it wasn't Maldonado-bad was it?

Maldonado gets 10 place penalty to Monza, 5 from the terrible jumpstart and 5 for colliding with Glock

His actions initiated a major crash (in which we are lucky no one was seriously hurt) at the most dangerous part of a Grand Prix, the start. I'd say it was pretty bad and a penalty well deserved imo.

There's been worse crashes too without such penalties, but this was probably taking into account all the other first lap crashes Grosjean has been involved in.

BUT - there's one thing definitely wrong with the decision - stewards said this as part of the reason for penalty: "It eliminated leading championship contenders from the race" - why the f#%k does it matter how the people involved in crash are positioned on the championship table?
That's practicly like saying "feel free to crash as long as the ones you crash into aren't running for the championship win"

His previous form ( 7 in 12 ) of ****ing up on first laps didn't help.

Plus the fact he took a Ferrari driver out, I'm surprised FIA hasn't pushed for a lifetime ban.

Yeah exactly, like what Kaotika said about what the stewards said. It shouldn't matter who was hit.

My point was that he can't have known Hamilton was there, or at least he didn't intend to create a crash. Unlike a certain other driver who has on more than one occasion. It was more like manslaughter than murder if you get what I mean.

LOL just watching the race and Alonso taking ages to get out means he was either in shock or shat himself, or both

Or as any Ferrari driver, he was expecting the trackside personnel to put his car back together and push him back to race

Apparently this is his 7th collision on the start of a race (this season), it might not all be his fault, but this one was.
