Intellectual and artistic culture has shaped our history to a far greater extent than manned space flight. Even science fiction authors like Asimov, Arthur C. Clarke, and Bradbury have done more to inspire interest in scientific exploration than the ISS. Ohhhhh, zero-gravity waste disposal! Where do I sign up?!

Putting up the gloves for astronomy, seriously Frenchie? The nonsense that you are more experienced with than I is called "astrology" - two separate things. Now, I understand your trendy degree in an applied science may delude you into think you have sufficient grasp of all the pure sciences, but have you ever so much as glanced through a telescope?
