i see all the bikes they make as art but not as a bike id want to ride across country

They are show pieces, for the most part but some of them look reasonably comfortable. Especially the dads old school bikes. That show has been on so long. I watched a year or two of it ten years ago it seems. I blame interest in shows like that on pot, college boredom and junkyard wars.
