Very cool! A feature this could provide that immediately came to mind was to create a papery texture when reading e-books and such. The abilities could obviously go much further than that though.

I was thinking the use of braille for the blind, on any book, website, advertisement etc...the possibilities are virtually endless.

Yeah the possibilities for people with disabilities here is insane!
Think about using this as a tool to teach kids with autism...

Also, finally I'd be able to type on a damn touch screen!

I was actually surprised to find it wouldn't be in the new iPad after reading about this a while back, maybe Apple will save that for the iPhone 5.

The tech is still far off, it will probably be a couple of years until we see in consumer tablets.
