Update on my abcess.

Went to the Emergency Dentist today, he was shocked to see how big it was luckily it on my gum & not under my teeth anyways the dentist said im gonna have to drain it before giving antibiotics as it to big and could cause a risk to my health.

Honest to god when he started draining i could smell it & the stuff was like a brown colour really really nasty.

Once it started draining the pressure on my gum was instantly gone felt great tbh and within a few hours the swelling the side of my face has gone down alot, but my gum is very sore atm.

He did mention if i left for a week longer it would have started to eat away at my teeth then into the jawbone & eventually lead to blood posioning.

Glad to hear you got it sorted mate. I know from experience how much you want to just leave it and hope it gets better. I was also lucky to catch mine before it got too serious. In future I won't mess around with it so much.

Are they gonna root canal it or take the tooth out? I had mine whipped out as it was likely to happen again after a while.
