It should do, check out the videos of the new Tegra3, the graphics look to be on par with PS3/X360.

But Samsung and Apple will be using different screens. Samsung is using Pentile (which I assume is OLED) while Apple prefers IPS.

Yeah, at like 9x5, not 25x16. And OMG, they are going to use the Tegra 3 in the new Samsung!? Oh noes! Tegra 3 is a pile of junk. The quad-core processor is on par with the iPad2 A5 which is down 2 cores, and 300MHz on each core!
Then the GPU is still behind.

I would say that Nvidia is currently roughly half a generation behind everyone in terms of performance.
With Tegra 3, they will finally be competitive with current PowerVR, IT, Apple, Samsung, and Qualcomm product.
