Harry Morgan, 96, who won an Emmy Award playing the curmudgeonly colonel Sherman T. Potter on the comedy series “M*A*S*H” and was a supporting actor for six decades in movies and on television, died Dec. 7 at his home in Los Angeles of complications due to pneumonia. I was a bit too young to appreciate MASH when it was on in the 70's/80's. Thankfully, it has constantly been in rerun rotation ever since.
