Yes I agree with Fox, I also have studied nutrition. When you lose pounds (on the scale) typically that is water loss. Many times when I did weight loss consultations, people would lose inches first and not pounds. They were baffled.
The quick answer is fat weighs less than muscle. If you exercise, you build muscle, and actually in the beginning will gain weight, but.. you will drop body sizes faster. This is because muscle burns fat. So this is why it's very important to get active when you are dieting. Also yes, hydration is very important to weight loss. Teas will DEhydrate you. But certain teas, will not. So pay attention to what you're drinking. Drink decaf if you can. |
