Default Bad Habits
What's everyones bad habits on the golf course? I am bad about taking the tee directly out of the ground and sticking it in my mouth.....with the dirt still on it. Also bad about taking off my headcovers and just throwing them on the ground rather than placing them in the seat of the cart so they don't get dirty.

Hahaha, did that the other day. Used tee in my mouth as I notice the fresh chem crystals spewed around the course... I think a few more cells died as a result of my bad habit, but nothing new about that..

Yep, I used to put the tee in my mouth also. Until someone told me about all the chemicals (pesticides, fertilizers..etc). I finally got smart and stopped.

Swearing. I don't yell or scream but in my line of work I get used to speaking in a kind of "language" that can sometimes be hard to turn off at the proper times

Oh I whine a lot when I am playing bad and it's really annoying to me so I'm sure it's 10x worse for my playing partners.

Mine is anger for sure, swearing or whatever, but it costs me for sure on the course sometimes. Hopefully the pro mental coach will help me with that

Never put a tee in my mouth, but probably swearing. Hitting bad shots is also a habit of mine i'd like to kick.

I smoke, I drink, I curse, I scratch myself on occasion and I pee in the trees.
This does not make me unique in any way, but viewed from a distance...bad habits.

Swinging too hard...doesn't ever seem to make the ball go further, but I do it all too often. Then get mad at the results...yeah, that helps also.

Mine would be not cleaning my clubs after every shot. Then I wonder how they get so dirty.

This. I played the other day with my 11-year-old daughter in the cart and caught myself saying highly inappropriate things several times within earshot of her. Fortunately, she was listening to music and didn't hear. But, I gotta clean it up.

Same here. I never clean them. A little before each shot, but other than that, nope.

using thumb to clean golf ball on the green.

its ok the first time when I stick thumb in mouth to get it wet and then wipe ball, but then after that, said thumb is now dirty

trying to get better about taking a towel up to green with me

My bad habit is not keeping my rhythm when I swing.
I try to hurry it or slow it down instead of keeping the same tempo
all the way thru.

I used to do this a lot, then I took the swing thought that I wanted to take a mental photo of impact, it's helped a lot!

I dont often clean the ball with my thumb, but i am usually bad about taking the towel up to the green with me, leaving the clubs on teh wet ground, and having nothing to clean my ball, i usually wipe it on my shorts as long as its not awful.

Swearing yup do that, occasional club slam yup do that one, I don't pick the tee up and put it in my mouth but I do have a habit of sticking it in my ponytail then wondering how the hell my hair got so dirty.
