The last two times out I started hitting fairways and it has made a noticeable difference in my game. I should have broken 40 on two of the nines (both on the front) if I just dropped a few makeable putts. My last nine wasn't so great scorewise because of a couple of uncharacteristic double bogeys, but the fact that I am consistently putting my drives in the fairway is encouraging. Best two driving days in almost two years.

I know that the saying says, "Drive for show, putt for dough". But I think that pertains to the top level of golfers. For the everyday amateur player, driving the ball in play is the most important thing for consistent scoring. JMO.

Default Feelin it
Felt good for the first time in weeks yesterday. Shot a 47 on 9, but I finally felt like I had control of my shots and I even dropped a couple putts. This is the part of the game that keeps me going back out there.
