Shot an 86 today. 41 on the front and a 45 on the back. I couldn't sink a fucking putt to save my life. I had the speed, but for some reason my putts are going off to the left.

I hate this fucking game, can't wait till tomorrow to try again.

88 today, probably lost about $30. When the games are set up on me shooting 76 or so I'm going to lose. I have no feeling, no touch, no swing, I'm thinking about buying a set of left handed clubs or maybe a fishing pole.
Ashy seems to have all the answers regarding grip, swing, what makes one 'slice', etc....

I'd look him up.

I don't hate golf as much as I did a week ago, because I don't suck as much as I did a week ago. Two times out this week and the swing has started to come around, although I still didn't score. That'll come.

Got my new Burner irons this morning and had a nice session on the range. Next time out I go low.

Nice. I can't wait until I have some income to use on golf. Some day I'll get my Calloways. Until then, I guess these clubs from 1988 will have to do. lol

I feel you, Ryr. I've had some decent rounds this year but some I have fugged up with poor chipping/pitching. I've been trying to get cute with the 60 degree around the greens, but it ain't happening. I've screwed up many holes to thin and fat shots from only a few yards in, usually on par 5's. Great drive, nice approach, third over the green or 10 feet in front of me. I'm going back to the pitching wedge.

Yesterday I had 2 birdies and a flippin' 8.

Shot 79 today.

2 under after 5. Then hit 2 in the water and took a 9. 2 over. Finished the front at 4 over 40.
Took a 7 on a par 4 on the back and shot 39.

I still think it's coming together, but with 3 birdies I should have shot better than 79.

Shot a 38 on the way out, bogied the first and eighth hole and parred the rest, almost birdied nine, my chip hit the flagstick and bounced back.

Started the back nine but the mosquitos were so thick we just gave up and headed home.

The only bright spot I see is that I can always enter the match play championship and maybe win c flight if I get my game back, since the scores I'm putting in will probably put me into at least c flight.

I don't know that my pride will allow me to play in c flight.

Damn, I knew your handicap was fairly low, but I didn't know it was around a 4. When you get it that low, you always need to bring your A game to win.

Look on the bright side, an 88 for me is a pretty good game.

I'm an 8.5 handicap. The rating on my course is 68.5. Par is 70.

I need to shoot 76.

If I don't make adjustments I won't have to worry about that 8.5 handicap any more.
