Divorce lawyers aren't allowed to receive a percentage of the property a person receives in a divorce...at least in MN they aren't. We have to bill hourly.

Did not know that. I lived through a few divorces w/ my parents, but I was too young to have any idea what the lawyers got out of it. Would your rates be higher for someone who can pay more for your services or depending on the difficulty of the procedings?
