Default First round of the year
Not bad...could've been better. Hit a 98. Kept the ball out of too much trouble. Missed a few too many putts. But the new swing wasn't too bad. Little slower and definitely better balance throughout the swing.

New driver worked out pretty well too. definitely didn't slice the drive as often or as far right as normal.

We'll see how the body responds to see if I play again tomorrow. Definitely going again Saturday and Sunday.

I think I may take some lessons early this season to see if I can work out some minor parts of my swing that are bothering me. I really want to get out, especially will after watching the Masters this weekend. I usually don't do a good job keeping my score, but I will this year.

Congrats on getting out there....!

My first round of the year will be my first round in a few years...with my umpriing schedule and with watching my son play baseball, I have found little time to get out.....

Alright, made the decision to play today. I might regret it tomorrow. Going to have my brother and husband do all the bending over to pick up my ball. All the swinging doesn't make me uncomfortable, but bending over to pick up the ball and clubs and stuff puts a lot of pressure on the prego belly.

Weird game. Thursday afternoon I was ready to donate my clubs to Goodwill, then Friday everything was long and straight off the tee and stiff on the greens.

Plan on hitting the course late afternoon. I like getting the last tee time.

I'm going to take a few lessons and find out where my distance went. I haven't had a chance on a par 5 in 2 in 2 years.

Broke 90 for the first time ever today....ended up with an 88. I'm hitting my irons really well right now.

I'd like to think it is because I'm getting better, but it is probably more likely because I'm not drinking during the rounds right now.

Another round tomorrow. We'll see if I can pull another sub-90. I have my doubts.

Whew...glad that round is over. Started sooo bad I didn't even keep score, just tried to work out some kinks.

Started with hitting everything off to the right, not a slice, but everything went in the direction of 2:00 o'clock.

Finally figured out I was too far from the ball and hitting everything off the toe. Parred three of the last six and bogeyed the other three. For me, that's pretty good.

Also, don't do a heavy bi / tri workout prior to tee time, my arms felt like they weighed 50 lbs apiece.

Must've went a little earlier than anticipated, huh?

Had another pretty good round....for my standards at least. 91 on tougher course than the one we played yesterday.

4 rounds in 4 days is pretty brutal for this gal though. My hips are killing me right now.
