I couldn't hit the ball at all last weekend. We played Thursday night and I shortened my swing and started pounding it with a draw. Shot 41 and then birdied the 10th, bogeyed 11 and we quit.
Today I stuck with it. Shot 42 on the front, double bogeyed 1, and kept on trying to persevere. Shot 42, 6 over on the front. That's in line with my 12 handicap. On the back I almost holed out on 10. 170 yds, I hit a 6 iron to 4 feet. Birdied that par 3. Chipped in on 15, 4th hardest hole on the course for birdie. I ended up with 2 birdies and 2 bogeys on the back, so par on the back. Par on the back is 34. 76. I'm damn happy and won a ton of money, although my buddies ended up drinking it up. |
