*warning, I'm a shitty golfer so todays stories have made me quite proud*


I had the greatest day ever in golf, for myself atleast. A buddy of mine is getting married tomorrow so 8 of us played today on a very short course (about par 58, yes thats for 18 holes) about 5 minutes from my place. I almost had a hole in one on the 4th. On a 120 yd hole the ball landed about 3 ft in front of the hole, rolled right over it and went past by about a foot and a half. Fuck I couldn't believe it. On the back nine I didn't have a hole worse than a 5! (incredible for me). Mostly all 4s (one 5). Its a small course with alot more par 3s than normal.

I used to have a wicked slice and whenever I stepped an inch or two closer to the ball it felt very awkward. Today I did that and everything felt great. I only sliced the ball twice all day. Man what a great game when things go well! *fingers crossed*

I still can't believe I didn't get that hole in one though! So damn close! lol
