The media hypes Tiger endlessly, for the true golf fan, not the ones who just turn into the majors, and then only of Tiger is in contention. IMO, Tiger really choked down the stretch of this tournament. He really didn't put pressure on Campbell, if he had he may have gotten more nervous and went belly up through the last 3 holes. In Campbell's defense he answered every shot Tiger made up to that point, but those 2 bogeys on 16 and 17 sure must have made him feel pretty comfortable over the final 3 holes.

Let's face it, Tiger is no longer the most dominant golfer in the world. Annika Sorenstam is, yes it's a different tour and she couldn't compete with Tiger on the same level, but she dominates her tour far more than he does.

IMO, Tiger is a spoiled little cry baby bitch. If he'd grow up and act like an adult I would probably root for him in more tournaments outside of the Ryder Cup.

He choked on his chip on 16, then missed the putt, then hammered his putt past the hole on 17 and missed the comeback putt...that IS choking. If he could have put some pressure on Campbell he might have made some unforced errors that would have changed the outcome. Those weren't difficult shots, the pressure got to him and he folded.

Campbell didn't know what the score was until the 18th hole. He thought Tiger was within a shot or two up until that point.

Campbell just played better.

And I could really care less about the swearing, the thing that bothers me is his tantrums. Throwing his clubs, raking the greens with his feet and putter. Those incidents are the ones that make me dislike him. I don't think you can use the Ryder Cup to figure out if a player is loved or hated though, everyone is rooting for the either the Americans or the Europeans...not this player or that player. I also have heard the rumors that other players don't like Phil, but I've never seen anything in actual print or during an interview. Last I checked, I'm not a professional golfer...or the #1 ranked player in the world. No one would expect me to do better on those holes, not me, you, the media...anybody.
