Default Need Some Good Mojo
Just received the results to my mri on my left knee. Not good, its a season ender I was trying to be positive and hoped that the ER doctor that told me it was a "severe sprain" was right. He couldn't have been more wrong.

MRI Results:
Fractured Knee
Torn ACL
Torn Medial Meniscus
Tore the Tendon that runs behind my knee
Fluid in the joint

Have to set up a meeting with a specialist and go from there. But I'm sure surgery is in my near future.

sorry for the sob story,
Brad

Yep, that will require surgical repair. Been there done that man and I'm sorry. The rehab is the worst because it takes so long.

thanks for the well wishes everyone! Its just been a rough day since I heard the news, but I know I will recover and be back shaving strokes from my game! Gio I appreciate the offer thats an awesome gesture, but I have a family friend that is an ortho so I should be in good hands. Just dreading being feeble and needing help to do the simple things I take for granted.

Get the surgery done, hit the rehab hard over the winter, and you'll be good to go for next golf season. The harder that you work at rehab, the better off you will be in the future!

'Sorry to hear this! I've had 4 knee surgeries and a knee replacement. Like everybody says, have the surgery, hit the rehab hard, and you'll be all ready for next season.

BTW, Morristown is excellent, but if you can get to Special Surgery Hospital in NYC, they're the best.

Good luck with the surgery and recovery. I only got to play once last year after a serious meniscus tear, and have had several knee surgeries in the past. You definitely should get on with the surgery as soon as possible so you can be rehabbed and ready to rock when next season starts. I'll throw in a recommendation for the guy who did my knee, the head of Orthopedics at Johns Hopkins. PM me if you'd like contact info. Again, good luck!

Man that sucks but get the surgery, do the rehab & hit 'em back up next season. You'll be glad you did. I hobbled around for a while on a worn out knee & it was no fun.
