Palo Alto Member-Guest Invitational 4-ball Net.
I shot 82 and my partner shot 74. Net 62. Tied for first place. We got screwed by a silly rule since his course handicap was 3 and mine was 14 I got a 10% reduction, which would have been a net birdie on the hole I ended up not stroking on. Could have been net 61 for the outright win. Played my entire round with 1 Callaway Hex Black ball. Missed a couple of short putts as well so we definitely left some out there. |

Thanks for the congrats guys!
My next tourney is an NCGA Stableford event on August 26th at Bayonet Golf Course near Monterey. Great course. I haven't played a Stableford scoring event before. Should be fun. Anyone with Stableford experience have any advice or is it pretty much the same strategy as stroke play? |
