Good luck! I was vacationing near Rockland last week and the weather was awesome. I played a couple of rounds in that area while I was there.

Fairways should be hard with all the sun and dry weather. I'd love to hear how it goes!

Cheers,

Ken

I didn't do terrible, but not my best. Around 50 something. The course used the wrong fertilizer and killed the tee boxes. It messed with my game so much. I can't wait for the championship at Rockland Golf Club, my home course. I usually shoot in the low 40's, but sometimes I can shoot in the 30's on the front.

I played the front 9 at Rockland last Tuesday morning! Nice course and great folks all around. Had a good chat with the pro when I ran into him on #2 green. The ripply fairways threw me for a bit of a loop. I got a kick out of the two-tier green on #3, especially since I landed my 3rd shot on the back and the pin was near the front that day. With the fast green I had no chance to stop the ball and it rolled right off the front.

We vacationed at Owl's Head last week but I'm unhappily back in CT now.

The guy at the pro shop desk indulged my request for an old bag tag too since I'm trying to collect them from courses I play. He even put my name on it for me. :-)

Next time we go up there I'll post on THP and maybe we can get together.

Cheers,

Ken

That's great. I think that green is great when the pin is ion the front! And Keenan the pro here is great. Maybe he mentioned me if you were talking about who plays there a lot.
