It went alright I guess lol. I had a tough front nine. Just couldn't find my swing and was all over the place. Had a few bogeys and a quad bogey and shot 47 on the front. The back was a lot better. My nerves settled down and I found my swing. Except for a double on 10 and a double on 11 I played really well. Was even with two birdies through 12-18. Shot 40 on the back for a total of 87. My aim was to shoot a decent round that wasn't terrible and I did it. I really enjoyed playing in it and I'm definitely going to play more an keep updating my progress

Most of all......HAVE FUN!! Don't try to hit anything at 100%,,,try to imagine yourself hitting shots at about 85%

I definitely had fun. Just a blast and the times I did try to go 100% my swing got away from me so I'll remember that for my next time

Glad you had fun Ziggy. I play 3-4 tournaments a year, plus weekly league rounds. At least for tournaments, I find my back nine is always better because my nerves have settled down and I've stopped putting so much pressure on myself.

Afterall, a tournament is marathon, not a sprint.

Congrats for getting in the first one. I know that when ever I start in a tournament, the nerves are wild. Sounds like a rough front, but now the first one is over and you know what to expect. Have fun in your next one.

The front definitely was rough. Me and my brother both played pretty bad but the back was a lot better for us with some birdies and pars
