3. The family is trying to leave our options open for weekends this summer as we got a new RV and want to use it as much as possible.

I'd love to get together with you another time, let's keep in touch and work it out. Thanks for the invite.
Sounds like my situation, too... new little travel trailer last summer. Just us and the dog, no kids. Hmmm... I smell golf / camping trip in the future?

No worries at all, completely understand and thanks for letting me know. We'll figure out a way eventually to get the Portlanders together

What kind of RV did you get? We're big campers (Coleman Sante Fe tent trailer) with the kids - love the coast and central Oregon.
Actually we got a Palomino Pony tent trailer, (small family w/ only me, wife, 8yr old). We have a 1000 Trails Membership so we plan on spending much of the summer at the 7 or so local sites, especially the Bend 1000 Trails because I can golf a lot around there.

Wow. Yeah, it sounds like we need to plan a Central OR trip and tackle Pronghorn, Tetherow, etc...

Hmm, not really familiar with the 1000 Trails Membership, will have to look into that. We go to Tumalo State Park in Bend a lot. BTW, 7 yr old son and 5yr old daughter and 100lb yellow lab. You guys are going to love the tent trailer, it takes camping to a whole other level of comfort

Speaking of golf and camping, noodle on this one - Bullards Beach Campground and Bandon Dunes. Dream scenario.

That will really kill the family budget! But what a campout!
