Default Club rental
I'm heading to tuson for a wedding in two weeks. I'm sure I'll get to play a little, my question is do most of the courses have rrental clubs and are they nice sets or junk sets? I hate to take mine with me only to play one or two rounds.

The upscale courses usually have really good clubs for rental but they will cost you. Cheap courses have absolute junk, at least in my experience.

I would look into one of the off site rental sites if they have any in Tuscon, they usually have a decent selection.

Depends where you play. Local munis will (in general) have poorer, older clubs ranging from a few years to a decade or more old. Resorts and higher end courses will have much better clubs, no guarantee that they'll be suited to you. I played in Vegas some years ago, bag was all Titleist - good. Blades and regular flex driver - bad. Still had fun, though...and didn't have to drag my clubs along.

Thanks maybe I'll check the yellow pages for tuson and see if I can find some off site rentals. However I imagine we would play some nicer courses.

I would be cheaper to just ship your clubs via FedEx if you are traveling by air anyway so why risk it?
