Hi Everyone

Just wanted to know which your best shot in a round has ever been (could be a 60 foot put, a chip in, a monster drive etc...). Mostly, its nice to think positive and to recall those better days (and also gives us all a chance to talk about ourselves and some of the fantastic things we might have done).

Would love to hear your experinces?

My best shot:

Many years ago, I was playing a round with a close friend on our home course. He was a 12 HCP and I was a 13 at the time (so we basically never gave each other an strokes and used to have fantsatic matchplay games together). We were all square coming into the 17th...the hole is pretty much a straight par 4 at about 400 yards..there's a bunker at 250 on the right side of the fairway and at about 300, there's water on the left (a lake). I hit a draw most of the time so my natural line was to aim at the edge of the bunker and then draw it back on to the fairway. My drive unfortunately went pretty straight and I ended up in the bunker (my playing partner was annoyingly accurate off the tee and was on the fairway). Fortunately, I had a good lie in the bunker, so I choked down an inch on a 6 iron and caught the ball perfectly..the ball flew out...I got that slight draw and the ball pitched on the fringe of the green and rolled straight in...for an Eagle 2!!!!!! Won me the match (we halved the last, both gettign bogies)!
